Abstract

The globe is experiencing unprecedented migration, and the populations of migrants and refugees are only expected to increase. This rapid increase of population movement has important public health implications, and therefore requires an adequate governmental response. This paper introduces promising practices that can assist governments in implementing initiatives to promote the health of immigrant and refugee populations.
