Abstract

Three Innovation Ambitions Continuum is a tool designed so that changemakers can think more clearly and collectively about their work and how to plan and evaluate it. It is a work in progress that captures some basic insights that have emerged from scores of social innovation initiatives. This article describes each of the innovation ambitions in greater detail.

Mark Cabaj, From Here to There Consulting

Mark Cabaj is President of From Here to There Consulting and Associate of the Tamarack Institute. Mark’s current focus is on building the practice of Developmental Evaluation, integrating real-time feedback and learning in emerging, complex, and fast-moving environments and has authored numerous tools and resources on the topic. 

 He is involved in social innovation, systems and social change projects around Canada and beyond in the areas of economic justice, environmental sustainability, human services and food security. 

 

Keren Perla , Energy Future Lab

Keren directs and stewards the Energy Futures Policy Collaborative – a multi-leader partnership diving into the intersection of systems change, policy and investment. Keren’s career and specialties have focused on pioneering new ways to solve messy challenges through the use of disciplines such as systemic design, foresight, and design facilitation. She is Co-founder of the Alberta CoLab – the first public sector social innovation lab to launch at a provincial level – and alumni of Avenue Magazine’s Top 40 under 40.
